Oslo Plastic Surgery presents its research on «quality of life after breast augmentation with implants» in Iceland June 10, 2010. Nordic plastic surgery association meeting.

Goals / Purpose: Results from surgical interventions are traditionally based on morbidity and mortality. However, there are other aspects that are important to clarify. Quality of life among women undergoing breast implant procedure is a growing area of ​​research, although there are few studies available. Especially the relation to depression and the effect of treatment on daily activity, participation in work activity and the overall results evaluated freely by women themselves are less clarified themes that should be focused on. Therefore, we wanted to investigate quality of life aspects of women who have had breast enlargement with implant.
